The initial requirement was to define a common XML standard for WIPO and OHIM information exchange products named respectively MECA for the International Trade Mark and CTM-Download for the Community Trade Mark. The Member Offices are also interested to have an XML Standard for the Trade Mark e-Filing and Publication.
